SUMMARY:The Legend of Katastrophe Kate at Twin Oaks Middle School
DESCRIPTION:Child’s Play Theatre stages The Legend of Katastrophe Kate\, a rootin’\, tootin’ Tex-Mex tall tale\, on Saturday\, November 21\, with shows at 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. at Twin Oaks Middle School in Prior Lake. \nKatherine\, a mild-mannered Eastern cook trained by the world-famous chef Madame Julia Enfant\, heads West and becomes the legendary Katastrophe Kate\, out to conquer the frontier with her red-hot chili. At Miss Lillian’s Saloon she faces her rival\, Jose Habanero\, who claims the hottest chili in the Southwest\, with romance on the back burner\, a high-kicking Fosse Posse\, a few international outlaws and a nosy reporter along the way. Child’s Play Theatre works with local Community Education programs to give students of all ages a chance to perform. \nDetails are on Child’s Play Theatre’s Facebook event.
