DESCRIPTION:Learn the basics of Chinese mahjong at a beginner class hosted by Lake Stories\, Prior Lake’s new pop-up bookstore\, on Monday\, August 31 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Spot’s Last Stop Canine Rescue. Doors open at 6:15. \nInstruction comes from a team of local Prior Lake women who love the game\, and registration includes guided instruction\, hands-on coaching\, a charcuterie snack box and dot cake from Wise Owl Eatery\, and beverages. No experience necessary. Every registrant is also entered to win a copy of Nicole Wong’s book Mahjong\, and the pop-up bookstore will be stocked with books\, gifts\, toys\, and mahjong accessories to browse before and after class. \nSpace is limited to 24 players.
