After a long winter of grocery store tomatoes\, this is the unofficial start of summer around here. \nThe market has been a Prior Lake Saturday morning ritual for over 20 years. Expect the usual lineup: fresh produce\, baked goods\, locally tapped maple syrup\, handmade soaps and bath products\, hand-crafted candies\, food trucks\, coffee baristas\, and live music. The organizers say several new vendors are joining the rotation this year. \nBeyond shopping\, the market doubles as a community hangout. Throughout the season they pair with local groups for things like yoga at the market\, kids’ events\, and a community blessing. Coffee\, breakfast\, and cocktails are available on site (cocktails stay inside the roped area\, per market rules). Free parking. DESCRIPTION:The annual Fish Lake 5K Festival returns Sunday\, May 3\, 2026 at Spring Lake Township Hall. Check-in opens at 12 p.m.\, the race starts at 1 p.m.\, and silent auction winners are announced at 3 p.m. \nThe certified 5K run/walk course winds around Fish Lake in rural Scott County — 75% paved\, 25% gravel\, with one moderate hill. Race medals go to the top three male and female finishers\, with ribbons for top finishers in age categories. Anyone over 80 who completes the race receives a medal. \nThe day also includes a free Minnows quarter-mile fun run for kids\, a silent auction\, free entertainment\, family activities\, and a concession stand. \nRegistration is $20 at check-in (cash or check). The first 100 registered racers get a free t-shirt. All registration fees are donated to the Law Enforcement Labor Services (LELS) Benevolent Fund.
