DESCRIPTION:The PLHS Robotics Boosters team up with the Prior Lake VFW for a Burger Bash fundraiser on Saturday\, May 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. Proceeds support team KING TeC as they head to the FIRST Championship (the robotics world finals) in Houston\, Texas after winning the Northern Lights Regional earlier this season. \nTickets are $10 for a burger basket or $20 for a burger basket and beer. Presale tickets are available from Prior Lake robotics students\, or pay at the door. \nPrior Lake VFW Post 6208 is located at 16306 Main Ave SE in downtown Prior Lake. SUMMARY:Fish Lake 5K Festival
DESCRIPTION:The annual Fish Lake 5K Festival returns Sunday\, May 3\, 2026 at Spring Lake Township Hall. Check-in opens at 12 p.m.\, the race starts at 1 p.m.\, and silent auction winners are announced at 3 p.m. \nThe certified 5K run/walk course winds around Fish Lake in rural Scott County — 75% paved\, 25% gravel\, with one moderate hill. Race medals go to the top three male and female finishers\, with ribbons for top finishers in age categories. Anyone over 80 who completes the race receives a medal. \nThe day also includes a free Minnows quarter-mile fun run for kids\, a silent auction\, free entertainment\, family activities\, and a concession stand. \nRegistration is $20 at check-in (cash or check). The first 100 registered racers get a free t-shirt. All registration fees are donated to the Law Enforcement Labor Services (LELS) Benevolent Fund.
