Expect the usual lineup: fresh produce\, baked goods\, locally tapped maple syrup\, handmade soaps and bath products\, hand-crafted candies\, food trucks\, coffee baristas\, and live music. \nThe market doubles as a community hangout. Throughout the season they pair with local groups for yoga at the market\, kids’ events\, and a community blessing. DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Prior Lake Library hold their one-day used book sale on Saturday\, September 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the large meeting room at the Prior Lake Library\, 16210 Eagle Creek Ave SE. Tables cover non-fiction\, adult and young adult fiction\, picture books\, kids’ fiction\, DVDs and more. \nThere are no set prices. Take what you want and leave a donation to the Friends. Cash and checks are accepted. Resellers are welcome from 2 to 3 p.m. only. All proceeds support programming and projects at the Prior Lake Library. \nThe sale shares the day with two other downtown events: the Pleasant Street Art Walk\, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. a few blocks away\, and Feeding Bodies & Minds\, the Hope Pantry food drive\, which hands out its coupon folders at the library from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in exchange for qualifying donations of $20 or more\, or 10 food items. \nDetails are on the Scott County Library calendar.

SUMMARY:2026 Pleasant Street Art Walk
DESCRIPTION:The 8th annual Pleasant Street Art Walk returns to downtown Prior Lake on Saturday\, September 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The street closes to traffic for the day\, turning Pleasant Street SE into an outdoor showcase of more than 70 local and regional artists\, performers\, and specialty food vendors. The event is family-friendly. \nFounded by Andrea Mullenmeister of ANM Pottery\, the Art Walk began as a small neighborhood collaboration with artists setting up booths in front yards along the street. The following year the street was closed to traffic\, and the event has grown into a Prior Lake fall tradition. Andrea describes it as “a grassroots celebration of art\, community\, and creativity highlighting the joyful and welcoming camaraderie that defines our Pleasant Street neighborhood.” \nPleasant Street is the oldest neighborhood in Prior Lake. The first house on the block was built in 1895\, and a pair of 1920 Sears Catalog homes still stand at the east end. In 2011\, neighbors organized to defeat a development proposal that would have rerouted Highway 21 through the street and demolished most of these historic homes.
