DESCRIPTION:Slow down and reconnect with nature at a guided forest bathing session at Cleary Lake Regional Park on Saturday\, July 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. Shinrin-Yoku\, or forest bathing\, is a mindful\, sensory immersion in the woods rather than a hike or a workout. A certified Forest Bathing practitioner leads the group through gentle prompts and reflection. \nThe practice is associated with reduced stress and anxiety\, improved mood and mental clarity\, immune support\, and a greater sense of mindfulness and connection. \nFor ages 18 and up. Cost is $32 per person. Advance registration through Three Rivers Park District is required.
