DESCRIPTION:The 8th annual Prior Lake Paddle Dash launches from Charlie’s On Prior on Saturday\, September 12. Check-in is 8:45 a.m.\, the 10K advanced paddle starts at 9\, and the 5K loop and the 1-mile kids’ route go off right after. Awards and a raffle for a local cause wrap things up around 10\, with optional drinks and food on the Charlie’s patio afterward. \nMinnesota Mermaid Paddle Board Rental hosts\, and this year it is a more laid-back social paddle: later start\, no swag bags or shirts\, and fewer safety boats on the water\, so paddle at your own risk. SUMMARY:9th Annual Woo Woo Pawlooza
DESCRIPTION:Adopt A Husky Minnesota holds its 9th annual Woo Woo Pawlooza at Lakefront Park on Sunday\, October 4 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It is the rescue’s biggest fundraiser of the year\, raising money to care for and place abused\, abandoned\, and injured Siberian Huskies. Check-in opens at 10:30\, a dog powered sports demo runs at 10:45\, and the group walk around the park steps off at 11:45. \nThe rest of the day fills in around the walk: a silent auction\, raffle\, wine pull\, bake sale\, games\, vendor booths\, and fall photos in the gazebo for $15. Lunch is served at 12:15 p.m.\, raffle winners are drawn at 1:00\, and the silent auction closes at 1:30. \nWalkers who donate or raise $60 or more get lunch\, a limited edition 2026 t-shirt\, and a goodie bag. Register here by September 11 to guarantee the shirt\, or register day-of at the park. Fundraising runs through Facebook pages\, and per the organizer Facebook charges nonprofits no fees\, so all pledges go back to the rescue.
