DESCRIPTION:Babies and their parents/caregivers are welcome to join us for our FREE and FUN story- and play-based early literacy classes that use the five important pre-readings practices of “Talk\, Sing\, Read\, Write\, and Play.” \nBest for ages 0-18 months only. Please\, for baby safety on the rug\, no older siblings if possible. \nOur class themes: \n\n9/11: Welcome to Baby Class\n9/18: How Big is baby?\n9/25: Roarin’ Readers\n10/2: Parachute Play Day\n10/9: Sing about me!\n10/23: Giggles to Scribbles\n10/30: Talk-a-Doodle-Doo\n11/6: Peek-a-Boo Baby\n11/13: Gobble-up words\n11/20: Meet Libby – Puppet Palooza\nLook for special events in December!\n\nLooking for classes for older kids? We also have a Toddler/Preschool class on Mondays at 10:30am. \nStorytimes led by library staff trained in the Every Child Ready to Read curriculum are “early literacy classes” – all the fun and learning of storytime\, but with tips and guidance on easy ways to help your child develop pre-reading skills. \n  \n
