SUMMARY:Fish Lake 5K Festival
DESCRIPTION:The annual Fish Lake 5K Festival returns Sunday\, May 3\, 2026 at Spring Lake Township Hall. Check-in opens at 12 p.m.\, the race starts at 1 p.m.\, and silent auction winners are announced at 3 p.m. \nThe certified 5K run/walk course winds around Fish Lake in rural Scott County — 75% paved\, 25% gravel\, with one moderate hill. Race medals go to the top three male and female finishers\, with ribbons for top finishers in age categories. Anyone over 80 who completes the race receives a medal. \nThe day also includes a free Minnows quarter-mile fun run for kids\, a silent auction\, free entertainment\, family activities\, and a concession stand. \nRegistration is $20 at check-in (cash or check). The first 100 registered racers get a free t-shirt. All registration fees are donated to the Law Enforcement Labor Services (LELS) Benevolent Fund. DESCRIPTION:The Jordan Lions host the Scott County Euchre Championship at Spring Lake Township Hall in Prior Lake on Saturday\, March 28. Check-in starts at 10 a.m. with cards dealt at 10:30. The tournament is four-handed (two-person teams) with payouts through third place and a trophy for the winners. Entry is $25 per person or $50 per team. \nA shredded roast beef dinner with potato dish\, salad\, and dessert is served after the first few rounds — included with entry. Beer\, pop\, and water available for purchase (no outside liquor). Pre-registration is highly recommended as the tournament is capped at 64 teams.
