🎶 Wednesday Night Live: Tjärnblom
Wed, Apr 8 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Wednesday Night Live is a free monthly live music series hosted by Club Prior and the Scott County Library. Held every second Wednesday from January–April, the series explores World Music through performances by artists representing cultures from around the world.
Close out the Wednesday Night Live series with Tjärnblom, a Scandinavian-style string band blending Swedish, Finnish, and Minnesota tunes—both old and new.
Their sound travels a modern “Snoose Boulevard Highway,” featuring instruments such as nyckelharpa, mandolin, guitar, cello, and harmonium. The result is a rich, lively performance rooted in Nordic tradition with a contemporary feel.
This free performance wraps up the Wednesday Night Live World Music series.
Funded by the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage (Legacy) Amendment through the Metropolitan Library Service Agency (MELSA).
