Big Year of Rivers: Home on the Minnesota River

Three Rivers Park District celebrates the natural and human history of The Landing and the Minnesota River with a free Big Year of Rivers event. Tour the historic village, try recreation activities like atlatls and geocaching, and bike the regional trail. Learn about the 10,000 years of human history along the river and meet some of the animals that call the Minnesota River home, from small aquatics to birds of prey. Activities are free and geared for all ages. The site has also been known as Tรญnta Otuล‹we, Prairieville, Murphyโ€™s Ferry, and Historic Murphyโ€™s Landing.
