Harvest to Table: Easy Recipes with Fresh Garden Produce

Harvest vegetables and native edible plants straight from the WEE Farm garden and turn them into a seasonal salad at this class in Savage on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Along the way you will learn when and how to harvest common vegetables and how to combine flavors from field to plate, a good introduction to gardening basics and local food. Kids ages 8 to 17 attend free with a paid adult.

The class costs $35. Register through Prior Lake-Savage Community Education.
