Scott County Library leads Maple Metamorphosis, an early autumn color walk and watercolor evening, on Thursday, October 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cleary Lake Regional Park, 18106 Texas Ave in Prior Lake.
The group takes a gentle one-mile hike on turf trails to see native maples start to turn, then returns to the pavilion for sunset over the lake, warm tea and a fire, and paints the leaf that caught their eye in watercolor. It is free, for ages 18 and up, and offered with Scott County Parks and Three Rivers Park District.
Registration is required and space is limited to 20; sign up on the library’s event page.
