PLHS Coaches vs. Cancer Night – Boys & Girls Basketball Double-Header

The Prior Lake High School Girls and Boys Basketball programs will host a special Coaches vs. Cancer double-header on Tuesday, January 27, in support of Laker alum Brooklynne Thorson.
Brooklynne was first diagnosed with a rare brain tumor over six years ago and faced surgery and recovery with remarkable strength, continuing gymnastics despite vision challenges. In 2025, just two weeks before graduating from Prior Lake High School, her tumor returned and she was diagnosed with brain cancer. She has since completed 33 radiation treatments and is currently undergoing chemotherapy while attending UW–Eau Claire and pursuing a degree in pediatric oncology nursing.
The evening will honor Brooklynne and help raise funds for her ongoing care.

Boys Varsity: 7:00 pm
