Primrose School of Prior Lake and Savage opened its doors 20 years ago, and the school is marking the milestone with a free community celebration on Saturday, August 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It happens right at the school, 7459 South Park Drive in Savage, one block east of Highway 13, and the doors are open to current families, alumni, and anyone from the neighborhood.
Three hours, packed: animals to pet, local food trucks, a bounce house and an inflatable slide, a dunk tank, face painting, crazy hair and temporary tattoos, touch-a-truck, hosted games like Red Light, Green Light with prizes, and raffle giveaways. The school will also take a moment to honor its alumni and start a collaborative mural to mark the day. Bring a friend or neighbor and you get an extra raffle ticket.
The party is free. Updates are on the Facebook event, and questions go to the school at (952) 226-4352 or primroseschools.com.
