The Prior Lake Lions are putting on a free barbecue dinner on Thursday, September 17 for anyone who wants to hear what the club does around town. Social hour starts at 6 p.m. and the program starts at 7 p.m. at the Lions office at 17066 Revere Way. Dinner is ribs and chicken off the grill, served picnic style outside if the weather holds, with the program inside.
The program covers the club’s local service work, how it connects to Lions Clubs International, and what membership actually involves. The Prior Lake Lions are the group behind the Easter Bunny Breakfast and Breakfast with Santa, and the point of the night is to bring in new members so they can take on more in the community. Dinner is free and there is no cost to attend.
The RSVP deadline was Sunday, September 13 so the club could plan food. If you missed it, contact Loretta Klenke at 952-913-8123 or lm.klenke@outlook.com before you come.
