Public Safety Day is back at Cleary Lake Regional Park on Saturday, September 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. Kids can climb into a variety of service and emergency vehicles, take photos, and talk with the police officers, firefighters, emergency medical crews and others who drive them. It is free and open to everyone.
Three Rivers Park District hosts the afternoon with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office and other area public safety agencies. In past years the lineup has included a Sheriff’s patrol boat, squad cars, a fire engine and a helicopter, so bring a camera. The park is at 18106 Texas Avenue in Prior Lake.
No registration is needed. Questions go to the park at 763-694-7777, and park details are at threeriversparks.org.
