Silent Book Club at Rhino Wine Bar

Prior Lake’s chapter of Silent Book Club meets the first Wednesday of every month at Rhino Wine Bar, 16186 Main Ave SE, from 6 to 8 p.m. The next one is Wednesday, September 2. The format is simple: bring whatever you are reading (any format counts), settle in with a glass of wine, read quietly in good company for an hour, and chat before and after if you like. There is no assigned book and no discussion homework.

It is free and open to anyone, and the bar is open as usual, so order what you like. Upcoming dates: October 7, November 4 and December 2. The chapter runs a Facebook group for updates, and Rhino’s events page lists each month’s meeting.
