Learn how to store carrots, potatoes, onions and other root crops so they last at this class at WEE Farm in Savage on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Root vegetables are among the most shelf-stable crops in the garden, and the class covers storage practices that save space and stretch their life. Youth ages 12 to 17 attend free with a paid adult.
The class costs $30. Register through Prior Lake-Savage Community Education.
