Wiener Dog Races

Canterbury Park rings in the Fourth of July with its annual Wiener Dog Races and a day of star-spangled fun. Admission is $2.50 plus tax, with $2.50 food and beverage specials all day. Highlights include giveaways with 250 free $2 wagers, a hot dog eating contest, and the dachshund races themselves. Festivities run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
