Lakefront Music Fest
Two nights of big-name music at Lakefront Park, every July, put on by the Prior Lake Rotary as its big annual fundraiser. Friday is rock night, Saturday is country night, and it has grown into the longest-running outdoor music festival in the Twin Cities area. This page is where I keep the current lineup, ticket info, and the practical stuff people actually ask about.
The 2027 lineup so far
The fest announced its 2027 headliners on August 10, 2026:
- Friday, July 9, 2027: Train (rock night headliner)
- Saturday, July 10, 2027: Jon Pardi (country night headliner), with Lee Brice
More acts are still to be announced. Both 2026 nights ended up as three-artist bills, so the undercards should fill in as the fest gets closer. I’ll update this page as names land.
Both nights are on the calendar too: rock night and country night.
Tickets
Tickets are on sale now at lakefrontmusicfest.com. At the headliner announcement the fest said all tickets are at 2026 pricing, with $135 covering both nights. Prices and tiers can change closer to the fest, so treat the official site as the final word on what’s available.
When and where
Lakefront Park at 5000 Kop Pkwy SE, Prior Lake, MN 55372. The 2027 schedule isn’t out yet. In 2026, gates opened at 5 p.m. and music ran into the night both nights.
Parking and getting there
Parking near the park is the one thing worth planning ahead. In past years the fest has run shuttles from satellite lots, and Holy Trinity United Methodist Church at 16150 Arcadia Ave SE, a short walk from the park, has sold reserved parking both nights as a fundraiser for its mission trips. I’ll add 2027 parking details here once they firm up.
Past headliners
The fest has a habit of landing acts you would not expect in a city park in Prior Lake. In 2026 it was Billy Idol with George Thorogood & The Destroyers and Jefferson Starship on rock night, and Keith Urban with Jackson Dean and Karley Scott Collins on country night.
