Superintendent Jim Wagner of Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools walks through the district’s 2026 levy presentation, then takes questions, at a town hall on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Spring Lake Farm, 18860 Fairlawn Ave. in Prior Lake. It’s free and open to the public.
The town hall is hosted by Yes for Laker Schools, a volunteer group that supports the referendum and is separate from the school district. The hosts say everyone is welcome, “whether you’re a yes, a no, or still deciding.” Details are on the group’s Facebook event.
Can’t make it? The district posted a recording of its own Oct. 8 information session, along with its referendum presentation, fact sheet and sample ballot, on its informational materials page.
Two questions are on the Tuesday, Nov. 3, ballot: a new operating levy, and a capital projects levy that applies only if the first one passes. The school referendum page on this site has the ballot wording, the district’s cost estimates and where and when to vote. Early voting is open now.
