Guided Forest Bathing
Sat, Jul 18 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Slow down and reconnect with nature at a guided forest bathing session at Cleary Lake Regional Park on Saturday, July 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. Shinrin-Yoku, or forest bathing, is a mindful, sensory immersion in the woods rather than a hike or a workout. A certified Forest Bathing practitioner leads the group through gentle prompts and reflection.
The practice is associated with reduced stress and anxiety, improved mood and mental clarity, immune support, and a greater sense of mindfulness and connection.
For ages 18 and up. Cost is $32 per person. Advance registration through Three Rivers Park District is required.
