Sailer’s Greenhouse in Shakopee hosts its Winter Greens Workshops on Saturdays in November, starting Saturday, November 7, with sessions at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Each takes about an hour: a 15-minute demonstration from the Sailer’s design team, then time to build your own winter container from fresh spruce tips, pine boughs, eucalyptus and festive accents.
More sessions are Saturday, Nov. 14 and Saturday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and Thursday, Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. New this year, Drop-In Sundays on Nov. 8, 15 and 22 run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with no demonstration. The workshops are free to attend, and you pay only for the materials you use. Bring your own container or pick one there, and bring pruning shears and gloves; outside greens and decorations are not allowed.
Registration is required and space is limited. Reserve a spot for Nov. 7 on Eventbrite or choose another date on Sailer’s events page.
