Savage city taxes could rise about $86 next year on an average home
Staff estimate $45 to $173 a year depending on home value, about $86 at the 2026 average of $439,200. Adoption is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 21.

A Scott County update said work closing Pike Lake Road at CH 21 was expected to start Wednesday, Sept. 16, and at Southbridge Parkway Thursday, Sept. 24.

Prior Lake’s preliminary levy adds about $70 to the city share on a median home
The city estimates the city portion of taxes on a median valued home of $461,700 rises $70 for the year, or 4.8%. The council approved it Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Shakopee extends trash and recycling contract with Dick’s Sanitation to 2031
The council voted 4-1 on Aug. 4. The 65-gallon cart, trash plus recycling, is $64.20 a quarter in 2026, and the proposed rates rise each year to 2031.
