4th of July Boat Parade
Sat, Jul 4 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The ever-popular 4th of July Boat Parade returns to Prior Lake on Saturday, July 4. Decorated boats convene on Upper Prior Lake near the docks at Charlie’s on Prior, where a brief judging period begins at 1 p.m. From there, the Sheriff’s boat leads the fleet under the Hwy 21 bridge, through the channel, and onto Lower Prior Lake past Watzl’s Beach.
Spectators love watching from the water and the shoreline, but the real fun is being in it. Cash prizes and individual trophies are on the line:
- Grand Prize: $500 plus trophy
- 2nd Place: $250 plus trophy
- 3rd Place: $100 plus trophy
- Most Patriotic Themed Entry: $250 plus trophy
- Best Laker Pride Entry: $250 plus trophy
Beyond the cash, winners earn bragging rights and every participant gets an unforgettable 4th of July on the water with family and friends.
