Canceled: Chalk Fest 2026 – Friday

Canceled. The City of Prior Lake canceled the Friday, September 18 session of Chalk Fest because of the weather. Saturday is still on as scheduled, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Main Avenue. The city asks people to check its weather updates page Saturday morning for any change.

Chalk Fest Saturday brings the professional chalk artists, an amateur chalk art contest, interactive art displays, live music, and food trucks to Main Avenue between County Road 21 and Dakota Street SE. Chula’s Mexican-Latin Food & Spirits and Lightbridge Academy sponsor the Saturday events, and a KaiBi Mobile Family Care unit is on site.

The Friday session had been set for 4 to 8 p.m., with the artists starting their large-format pieces alongside food trucks and live music.
