Mixed Precipitation presents Pickup Truck Opera Vol. 6: Tales of Hoffmann on Friday, August 21 at Lakefront Park. The evening runs 6:30 to 8 p.m., with the performance starting at 7, so come early and stake out a spot. The one-of-a-kind outdoor show reimagines Jacques Offenbach’s 1881 opera with a pickup truck for a stage and a soundtrack that mixes classical opera with 90s grunge and R&B.

Performances are offered for a suggested donation of $5 to $50, and kids and teens under 18 are free. Bring your own chair and cooler. Popcorn and bundt cakes are available for purchase.
