Friends of the Prior Lake Library Big Book Sale
The Friends of the Prior Lake Library's one-day used book sale, Saturday 9 to 3 in the library's large meeting room. No set prices: take what you want and leave a donation, cash or check.
Feeding Bodies & Minds: Hope Pantry Food Drive
Bring 10 food items or $20 to Hope Pantry on the day and take home a coupon folder of discounts to area businesses. The food drive runs alongside the Pleasant Street Art Walk and the Friends of the Library fall book sale, with free bookmark coloring and a free kids' book at the library.
Super Science Saturday: Slime Lab
Kids make and test different kinds of slime, find out how polymers behave when stretched and squeezed, and take their creations home. Ages 5 to 10.
2026 Pleasant Street Art Walk
More than 70 artists, performers and food vendors take over Pleasant Street SE downtown for the 8th annual art walk, Saturday 10 to 4. The street closes to traffic, with live music and artist demonstrations all day, and the library book sale and the Hope Pantry food drive run the same day a few blocks away.
