On the Nov. 3 ballot: 10 for four school board seats, no contest for council
Ten candidates are running for four seats on the Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools board in the Nov. 3 general election, according to the list the district posts as the filing officer. The two Prior Lake City Council seats on the same ballot drew two candidates, both of them sitting councilmembers, according to the Minnesota Secretary of State’s candidate filings.
The school board candidates, in the order the district lists them, are Jennifer Anderson, Lisa Atkinson, Amy Bullyan, Nancy Dager, Jessica Olstad, Aaron Provancha, Dustin Smith, Rick Storlie, Amy Witt and Dillon Ziegler. Each seat carries a four-year term that begins Jan. 1, 2027 and ends Dec. 31, 2030. Filing closed July 28, 2026. The district is required by state law to post the candidates’ campaign financial reports on the same page.
For City Council, the state’s filing record shows Kimberly Churchill, who filed July 15, 2026, and Victor Lake, who filed July 14, 2026, for the two seats to be elected. The city’s website lists both as current councilmembers. The city’s filing period ran July 14 to 28, 2026.
District voters will also decide the school referendum on the same ballot.
What's next: Absentee voting starts Friday, Sept. 18, at the Scott County Public Works Department in Jordan. Early voting at Prior Lake City Hall starts Oct. 16. Election Day is Nov. 3.
