Prior Lake City Hall is the municipal building at 4646 Dakota Street SE in downtown Prior Lake, open Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm. It holds the city offices, permits and licenses, utility billing, community development, the clerk, and the council chambers, where the Prior Lake City Council meets at 7 pm on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, with dates shifted around holidays. Meetings, work sessions and public hearings are open to the public and streamed, and agendas post on priorlakemn.gov ahead of time.

The events that put it on this site are the public ones. The Candy Crawl each October, the city's daytime trick-or-treat for little kids, starts at City Hall before moving through the downtown storefronts, and the annual State of the City address has been held here in the spring. The routine meeting calendar stays on the city's own site; the decisions that matter to households are covered in Around Town.

Main line: (952) 447-9800.
