Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community's casino resort on County Road 83, technically in Prior Lake and about five minutes north of downtown. It is the largest entertainment complex in the south metro: a casino floor with slots, table games and bingo, a hotel tower, a spa, several restaurants and bars, the Mystic Showroom for concerts and comedy, and Mystic Lake Center for conventions and larger shows.

For the purposes of this site, Mystic Lake is a venue first. The Showroom books national touring acts, comedians and MMA cards year-round, and recurring events like Blingo, ladies' weekends and holiday buffets round out the calendar. The outdoor Mystic Lake Amphitheater is a separate venue a few miles north next to Canterbury Park; Mystic holds the naming rights and runs shuttles from the casino on show nights. Prior Lake Events lists the public shows and events at both, with links to tickets.

  • Concerts and comedy happen in the Mystic Showroom (indoors, year-round). The outdoor Mystic Lake Amphitheater is a different site next to Canterbury Park in Shakopee, with casino shuttles on show nights.
