The Prior Lake Library is the Scott County Library branch on Eagle Creek Avenue SE, in the same building as Club Prior. Beyond books, media and study space it is one of the busiest free program venues in town: weekly story times, Waggin' Tales reading time with therapy dogs, summer reading club events, teen art and craft workshops, book clubs and author visits, plus a run of one-off family programs every school break.

Nearly all of it is free and a lot of it needs registration, which opens on scottlib.org. Prior Lake Events lists the public programs here, so the calendar below is a quick way to see what the library has coming up without digging through the county site.
